1. About Our Service
Book Your Road Test ("we", "us", "our") is an independent, third-party booking service that assists customers in scheduling Ontario road tests. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the Ontario Ministry of Transportation (MTO), DriveTest, or any government agency.
By using our website and services, you ("the customer", "you") agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before placing an order.
2. Services Provided
We provide the following services:
- Booking of G, G2, M, and M2 road tests at Ontario DriveTest centres on your behalf
- Rescheduling of existing road test bookings
- Cancellation processing
- Cancellation Finder notification service
- 24/7 customer support
We act as an intermediary booking agent. The road test itself is conducted by DriveTest/the Ontario Ministry of Transportation. We have no control over test scheduling availability, test outcomes, or DriveTest policies.
3. Pricing & Fees
Our prices are all-inclusive and include:
- The official DriveTest road test examination fee
- Our administrative/service fee for handling your booking, providing customer support, and managing your appointment
Current pricing (subject to change):
- G2 Road Test: $109.99 (all-inclusive)
- G Road Test: $159.99 (all-inclusive)
- M2 Road Test: $109.99 (all-inclusive)
- M Road Test: $159.99 (all-inclusive)
Prices may be updated without prior notice. The price displayed at the time of your purchase is the price that applies to your order.
4. Booking Process
- Upon receiving your order and payment, we will process your road test booking with DriveTest.
- A payment confirmation email will be sent within 1 hour of purchase.
- A full booking confirmation with your test date, time, and location will be sent within 48 hours.
- If your preferred date is unavailable, we will book the next closest available date and notify you by email.
- You are responsible for ensuring all personal information provided is accurate and matches your Ontario driver's licence.
5. Rescheduling Policy
Rescheduling is free of charge. To reschedule, email us at support@bookyourroadtest.ca with your booking reference number and preferred new dates. Rescheduling is subject to availability at your chosen test centre.
6. Cancellation & Refund Policy
To cancel your booking, you must provide at least 3 full working days' notice by emailing support@bookyourroadtest.ca.
If your test has NOT yet been booked with DriveTest:
- A $30 administration fee will be deducted from your refund.
- The remaining amount will be refunded to your original payment method.
If your test has already been booked with DriveTest:
- The official DriveTest examination fee is non-refundable (as it has already been paid to DriveTest on your behalf).
- Our service fee portion may be partially refunded, less the $30 administration fee.
All refunds are processed within 10 business days to the original payment method.
Cancellation Finder:
- The Cancellation Finder service is non-refundable after 12 hours of purchase.
- Refund requests within the first 12 hours will be processed in full.
7. Customer Responsibilities
- You must provide accurate personal information matching your Ontario driver's licence.
- You must meet all eligibility requirements for the test you are booking (valid G1/G2/M1/M2 licence, mandatory waiting periods completed, etc.).
- You are responsible for arriving at the test centre on time with all required documents and a suitable vehicle.
- We are not responsible for test outcomes, examiner decisions, or DriveTest policies.
8. Payment & Security
- All payments are processed securely through Stripe with 256-bit SSL encryption.
- We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Google Pay.
- We do not store your full credit card details on our servers.
- All transactions are PCI-DSS compliant.
9. Limitation of Liability
Book Your Road Test shall not be held liable for:
- Road test outcomes or results
- Changes to DriveTest scheduling, policies, or fees
- Test centre closures, weather-related cancellations, or force majeure events
- Delays in booking confirmation beyond our control
- Inaccurate information provided by the customer
Our maximum liability is limited to the total amount paid for the specific service in question.
10. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, and design, is the property of Book Your Road Test and is protected by copyright law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content without our written permission.
11. Privacy
Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.
12. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes take effect immediately upon posting to this page. Your continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
